Zoning Board of Appeals has asked the township's recommendation on this matter.
The owner would like to build on his property which is located next to Eliza Creek. Those
attending the meeting walked over to the site to look at the situation. It was decided to
recommend a variance of 20' from the rip-rap (see paperwork on file). Motion was
accepted by Boggio, Johnson, Clarkson, and Keith. Van Pelt opposed, stating he is hesitant
about allowing building to occur next to public waterways. Boggio to attend the next
meeting of the County's Zoning Board of Appeals to be held June 2, 1997, representing
Eagle Harbor on this matter.
