LAND USE COMMITTEE – Barbara Been - Lori Hauswirth has finished the document and will be working with the Planning and Zoning Commission Wednesday, Sept 18. RECREATION COMMITTEE – Barb Sickler – The Benches have been installed-thanks to John Wakeman.

SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE – Bruce Olson – Windows in Building have been replaced or removed. We are looking at the option of a chain link fenced enclosure to store garbage in when the building is unavailable. It is recommended that we have another Junk Jettison day next year. This will be on the October Agenda. During power outages when compacter is down please hold off dumping your garbage until power is back on. The dump will remain open for dumping of brush. If it becomes necessary to store garbage in the solid waste building tarps should be spread on the floor to keep it clean.

VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT – Mike Radigan – Doug Sherk reported that the Township is assessing the need for a generator so the siren may go off for testing in the near future. It was noted that the Fire Department doesn’t really need the siren but it could be used for other disaster warning.
