MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: 7:00 PM by Supervisor, Jim Boggio

MINUTES: November 11, 1996 reviewed: motion to accept, Van Pelt, supported by Johnson,

vote unanimous

TREASURER'S REPORT: Reviewed; motion to accept, Van Pelt, supported by, Keith,

vote unanimous

BILLS: Reviewed December expenditures, motion to accept, Johnson, supported by Keith,

vote unanimous.

SUPERVISOR'S REMARKS AND CORRESPONDENCE: 1) Award Presentation: to be

delivered to Barb Radigan's, 2) Oath of Office: Robert Taylor, Deputy Supervisor, 3) In

compliance with Section 2 of the Incompatible Public Offices Act (MCL 15.182) and Act

(MCL 15.403-2), the resignation of Donald Keith from his various township jobs was

completed, he was re-instated as Trustee and then re-appointed to his positions.

Volunteer Fire Department - Mike Radigan (Absent)

VFD Auxiliary - Anna Royce (Absent)

Water & Well-head Committee - John Wakeman (Absent)

Studies will continue next summer by Mich. Tech. per Jim Boggio

Cemetery Committee - John Pippenger (Absent)

Solid Waste Committee - Boggio appointed resident, Bruce Olson, as chairperson of this

committee; he accepted the position

Beach Committee - Fred Kellow (Absent)

Recreation Committee - Barb Sickler (Absent)

OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS

contract will cover the cost of his time, per the conversation between G/T coordinator and

the office; replace worn carpet, purchase new desks and chairs and reorganize the balance

of the office equipment to make it more efficient and user friendly. Motion to authorize the

use of not more than $2,000.00 to facilitate the above plan was made by Johnson, supported

by Van Pelt, vote unanimous. Don Keith suggested we utilize the old pump house for record

storage - which will be considered.

PUBLIC COMMENT

cash value. 1) Assessments need to be brought up to 50%, 2) 10% has been added to

everyone, and 3) Lake Supperior frontage has to be re-assessed.
